"As an FD with the responsibility for managing the IT department, in my opinion, cyber security represents one of the key risks in any organisation and should therefore be managed at the highest level. A cyber-attack can have catastrophic impacts on the ability of a business to continue to trade and to protect its most sensitive data. I needed to know more about cyber security so that I could proactively lead from the top, engage the board and challenge my team appropriately.
